Haggai Education & Training Skills Development Summit

“At the centre of all our efforts to achieve higher and more equitable growth, to draw young people into employment and to prepare our country for the digital age, must be the prioritisation of education and the development of skills.” ~ President Cyril Ramaphosa during the State of the Nation Address 2019.

While South Africa focuses on job creation and economic empowerment, sustainable career development depends on the upskilling of the country’s citizens with relevant skills and capabilities. You are invited to attend the Haggai Education & Training Skills Development Summit, taking place at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Tshwane on Tuesday, 12 March 2019. This event is followed by an evening of celebrations at the Achiever Awards, recognising the very best training programmes in the country.

The Summit attracts members of the corporate sector, government professionals, entrepreneurs, business leaders and motivational speakers from various industries. It will take the format of industry-based panel discussions that are driven by questions from the audience to address key issues, such as disability equity, community education and training, creating new leaders, and preparing for the fourth industrial revolution.

In between panel discussions, participants can enjoy networking, viewing exhibitions and focus sessions.

The Summit draws to a close with cocktails at 16:00 before the Achiever Awards gets underway. Many corporates and NGO’s excel within the training arena, and some go above and beyond. These are organisations that bring hope to our country and should be recognised for their achievements.
