This is the second Africa for Africa International conference convened by Ms. Bea Hackula in partnership with stakeholders who share the vision of the Economic Emancipation of the Women of Africa.

” Annually on 8 March, thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate their achievements. AAWC2017 is not only about the commemoration of the international women’s day, but the kick start of intra & intercontinental collaboration towards the realization of Vision 2063 through case study and round table engagements. This event speaks to Hon Minister Jeff Radebe–Minister for Planning, Monitor & Evaluation’s promotion of active citizenry for successful implementation of the National Development Plan.” Hackula said.

The AAWC2017 aligns to the Solemn Declaration to develop Agenda 2063 made by The African Union (AU) in its resolve for Africa to be in charge of her destiny; “through a people-driven process for the realization of our vision for an integrated, people-centred, prosperous Africa at peace with itself. “ therefore , African women must play a pivotal role in this process.

The African Union, in its 25th ordinary session, held 14-15 June 2015 in Johannesburg declared that “Declaration on the Launch of The Negotiations for the Establishment of the Continental Free Trade Area”
